My Story

I grew up in New Hampshire like any normal kid. I’ve played every sport you can think of, but I always gravitated to golf. I love the complexities of the game, the technique, the golf courses, and most importantly getting to know the thousands of people I have gotten to play with.

An avid high school golfer, I loved the opportunity to practice and play the game competitively. My early instruction inspiration came from watching Michael Breed’s television show, The Golf Fix. I would use theses tips for my own game, as well as with high school teammates in some of my first basic – bare bones lessons.

Upon graduation from high school I studied Business Administration and Professional Golf Management at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. At Methodist I was introduced to many facets of the game, and was influenced heavily by the teaching ideologies of Robbie Fritz, the 2019 Carolina’s PGA Teacher of the Year. I was drawn to the practicality of analyzing the swing from a ball flight backwards perspective. After all, how we swing the club into the ball is what makes it go where it goes. Hundreds of rounds, dozens of classes, and four internships later I graduated from Methodist and became a member of the PGA of America.
